On Monday morning, Wood and Snezana both put the same brief statement on their Instagram story.
“This is a difficult time for all of us, we are working through this as a family and thoroughly co-operating with the authorities,” said the statement, “from the Wood family”.

Wood spent Sunday night in custody and was set to face court on Monday.
Sam and Snezana Wood are one of The Bachelor’s longest-standing couples, having been together for 11 years.
Snezana was already a single mother to Eve, now 21, when she met Wood on the reality TV show in 2015.
The couple initially planned to marry but put their wedding on hold after discovering they were expecting their first child together. In October 2017, they welcomed their daughter Willow.
The reality TV stars eventually tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay in November 2018, with Eve and Willow serving as bridesmaids. They went on to welcome two more daughters: Charlie, 7, and Harper, 4.
Over more than a decade, they have transitioned from a televised romance into a prominent partnership, building a blended family of six.

They now collaborate on public health and fitness projects, including Wood’s online training platform.
The couple frequently documents their busy life raising four daughters, and they have spoken openly about navigating parenting challenges and turning to couples therapy.
“Everyone thinks, ‘Oh, you guys have got it all worked out’. We don’t have it worked out,” Wood told Mamamia in 2025.
“We are a dog’s breakfast. It’s a madhouse, and it’s stressful, and we’re exhausted and we’re probably like everybody else.
“Instagram doesn’t necessarily portray the snapshot that is the life we live inside our house.”
